Gao Rou (174-263),[1] courtesy name Wenhui, was a minister of the state of Cao Wei during the Three Kingdoms period. He was a younger cousin of Gao Gan. He previously served under the warlords Yuan Shao and Cao Cao in the late Eastern Han Dynasty.

  1. 1 2 3 Gao Rou's biography in Records of the Three Kingdoms mentioned that Gao died at the age of 90 (by East Asian age reckoning) in the 4th year of the Jingyuan era (260-264) in Cao Huan's reign. (景元四年,年九十薨,謚曰元侯。) By calculation, his birth year should be around 174.
