Gongivaripalli is a village[1] (with a gram panchayat) located at a distance of around 3 kilometers from Sodam, Chittoor District, Andhra Pradesh. The village comes under Punganur constituency.[2] The village is known to have a renowned international school The Peepal Grove School. Honorable ex-president of India, Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam participated in the inauguration of this school[3]

During the period of Ramayana, The Lord Rama walked through this small hill in search of His beloved wife Goddess Sita which is why the name Sithamma Gutta. Everyday Sunrises and Sunsets seem beautiful in this place surrounded by vast plain hills.
