Ishtiaque Hossain (born 10 April 1990) is a Bangladeshi journalist,[1] writer and advertiser. He is best known for his book Wallowing in Dhaka.[2][3] His other non-fiction works include The Medium Effect and Deconstructing "The Donald".
Ishtiaque currently writes for The Huffington Post and works in the Malaysian advertising industry.[4] [5]In the Bangladeshi advertising industry, he is best known for writing the scripts for first two episodes of Ekhanei.com, directed by Mostofa Sarwar Farooki and starring Iresh Zaker.

Wallowing in Dhaka
A self-published eBook in Kindle format, Wallowing in Dhaka was first published on Kindle Store on 10 July 2015. Ishtiaque named the protagonist after himself, and some readers speculate that most of the stories were inspired by the author's real life experiences while working as a journalist and advertiser.[6] The Independent Bangladesh called it "A Bold and Refreshing Book"..
