James Glasspool (born 8 June 1991) is an Australian professional road racing cyclist who rides for Team Novo Nordisk.[1][2] He turned professional in 2015.[2]

Biography

Glasspool was born, raised, and resides in Adelaide, South Australia, Australia.[3][4] At the age of eleven, he was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes.[5][6]

Between 2009 and 2012, Glasspool claimed five track titles.[7][8][9][10] He finished ninth in the 1 km time trial at the 2012 UCI World Track Championships.[11][12] In 2014, Glasspool progressed from track to road cycling; he signed with Team Novo Nordisk Development.[13][14] Glasspool signed with Team Novo Nordisk, a UCI ProConTeam, for the 2015 season.[15][16]
