Kåre Hedley "Bruttern" Ingebrigtsen (born 11 November 1965 in Trondheim) is a former Norwegian footballer. He played as a midfielder. The nickname "Bruttern" translates as "brother" and was coined by friend and former teammate Jahn Ivar Jakobsen.
Career
During his career he played for Rosenborg BK, Lillestrøm SK, Manchester City F.C., and Strømsgodset IF as a midfielder. He earned 23 caps for the Norway national football team.
He made 17 appearances for Manchester City, scoring three goals, all of them in an FA Cup match against Leicester City F.C. on 8 January 1994.
He is currently the coach of Rosenborg BK. In 2007 he coached Ranheim Fotball and was the assistant coach of Rosenborg BK.
