Kattankulathur comes under maraimalai nagar municipality of the Chengalpattu taulk in the Kancheepuram district of Tamil Nadu. It is a fast developing Town on Chengalpattu taulk region, located along the busy GST Road on Chennai-Trichy National Highway.
