Libuše Benešová (born 5 July 1948) is a Czech politician. She was the President of the Senate between 1998 and 2000. Benešová became Senator for Benešov as a result of the Czech Senate election, 1996, serving until 2000.[1] After running for re-election as Senator for Benešov in 2000, she finished second behind Four-Coalition candidate Helena Rögnerová, who resultantly succeeded her.[2]
