This is a list of colonial governors of Italian Eritrea from 1890 to 1941. They administered the territory on behalf of the Kingdom of Italy.

Italian Eritrea -before the official creation of the Colonia Eritrea in 1890- had seven interim governors: Branchi Giovanni (1882-1885), Caimi Alessandro (1885), Tancredi Saletta (1885), Genè Carlo (1886-1887), Tancredi Saletta (1887), Di San Marzano Alessandro (1888) and Baldissera Antonio (1889).[1]

From 1936, the colony of Eritrea was increased in size and called Eritrea Governorate, as part of Africa Orientale Italiana (AOI). The Italian governors were under direct orders of the Viceroy (representing the now-King and Emperor Vittorio Emanuele III).
