List of municipalities in the Western Cape

The Western Cape province of South Africa is divided, for local government purposes, into one metropolitan municipality (the City of Cape Town) and five district municipalities. The district municipalities are in turn divided into twenty-four local municipalities.

In the following map, the City of Cape Town is shaded green and labelled "CPT", the district municipalities are shaded various other colours, and the local municipalities are labelled with their official codes allocated by the Municipal Demarcation Board.
