Machilipatnam (Assembly constituency) is a constituency of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly in India. It is one of 16 constituencies in Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh. The constituency was earlier a part of Avanigadda (Assembly constituency). As per the Delimitation Orders (2008), it was the newly formed constituency, covering Machilipatnam mandal and it is also a part of Machilipatnam (Lok Sabha constituency).[1]

Kollu Ravindra is the present MLA of the constituency, representing Telugu Desam Party.[2] He defeated Perni Venkatramaiah of YSR Congress Party in the 2014 Andhra Pradesh Assembly Elections.[3]
