The Malaysia Youth League is a youth football competition for under-19 players in Malaysia.
The league consist of youth squad from clubs competing in the Malaysian football league and also youth squad from sports schools under the management of Football Association of Malaysia (FAM).[1][2]
The league exist alongside the developmental competition for under-21 players, the Malaysia President's Cup.
History
Since its inception, in 2008, the Youth Cup has been the major tournament for under-19. In 2009 to 2011, the competition is combined with President's Cup. In 2015 the format of the competition changed to the league format.[3]
