Maroussi Indoor Hall
Maroussi Indoor Hall AKA Agios Thomas Indoor Hall is an indoor basketball sporting arena that is located in the city of Maroussi, Greece, a suburb that is 9 km north of the center of the city of Athens, Greece. The stadium is only about 500m distance away from the Athens Olympic Sports Complex also known as the OAKA, and the Nikos Galis Olympic Indoor Hall. The seating capacity of the indoor basketball arena is 2,000 people. It is currently home to the Maroussi Athens Greek basketball team, which competes in the Greek B League.
History
The arena was opened in the year 1998, when Maroussi was most recently promoted to the top-tier level Greek Basket League. The hall is owned by the city of Maroussi.
