Miroslav "Muta" Nikolić (Serbian: Мирослав Николић; born January 8, 1956) is a Serbian professional basketball coach. He currently serves as an assistant coach of the Serbian national basketball team.

Coaching career

Nikolić started his coaching career in 1990. He coached Maribor, IMT Beograd, BFC Beočin, Partizan Belgrade, Budućnost, KK Crvena zvezda, Vojvodina, Apollon Patras, Hemofarm, BC Avtodor Saratov and Radnički Kragujevac.[1]

National team

Nikolić was an assistant coach of Željko Obradović in the national team of Yugoslavia, with whom he won silver at the 1996 Summer Olympic Games in Atlanta and, a two golds later, at the 1997 European Championship in Spain and 1998 FIBA World Championship in Greece. He also has a two silver medals from the 2014 FIBA World Championship in Spain and 2016 Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro when he was in the coaching staff of Aleksandar Đorđević.[2]
