Morgan Creek Productions is an American film studio that has released box-office hits including Young Guns, Dead Ringers, Major League, True Romance, Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, The Crush, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves and The Last of the Mochicans. The studio was co-founded in 1988 by James Robinson and Joe Roth. Robinson leads the company as chairman and CEO. He has two sons Brian Robinson and David C. Robinson who run the day to day operations.

In October 2014, Morgan Creek sold the international distribution rights and copyrights to their films to Revolution Studios.[1] In September 2015, Morgan Creek began negotiating the sale of rights for the remaining territories, though they will retain remake and TV rights to the Ace Ventura, Major League, Young Guns, and Exorcist franchises.[2] Miramax is currently the digital and television distributor for the pre-2012 Morgan Creek library, via Revolution Studios.[3] The domestic rights to the Morgan Creek library (with the exception of Young Guns, which still stand with Lionsgate/Vestron Video), have since been purchased by Westchester Films/Shout! Factory.
