Mullanpur Dakha, also known as Mandi Mullanpur, is a town and a nagar panchayat in Ludhiana district, an Indian state, of Punjab. Performing a role as a grain market for the surrounding villages, the town has developed as the market junction for goods and transport for surrounding villages.

Demographics

In 2001, Mullanpur Dakha had a population of 14,607.[1] Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Mullanpur Dakha has an average literacy rate of 69%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 74%, and female literacy is 63%.
