Natchez is an unincorporated community in Halbert Township, Martin County, Indiana.
History
A post office was established at Natchez in 1844, and remained in operation until it was discontinued in 1905.[3] The community was likely named after Natchez, Mississippi.[4]
Geography
Natchez is located at 38°37′02″N 86°42′39″W / 38.61722°N 86.71083°W along U.S. Route 150 in the Hoosier National Forest.
