Nowa Karczma [ˈnɔva ˈkart͡ʂma] (German: Neukretscham) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Siekierczyn, within Lubań County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.[1] It lies approximately 6 kilometres (4 mi) north of Siekierczyn, 10 km (6 mi) west of Lubań, and 131 km (81 mi) west of the regional capital Wrocław.


Prior to 1945 it was in Germany. Following World War II the native German populace was expelled and replaced by Poles.

Near Nowa Karczma, there is an FM/TV-broadcasting facility, using a 134 metres tall guyed steel tube mast.
