Paola Pivi

Paola Pivi (b. 1971 in Milan, Italy) is an Italian multimedia artist[1] who generally lives and works in Anchorage, Alaska but recently from 2013 until 2016 she is based in Delhi, India – together with her husband, the composer Karma Lama / Culture Brothers – because of the adoption of their adoptive son. In her work, she uses a wide range of art techniques, such as photography, sculpture and performance.[2] Some of her works contain performance elements, at times involving live animals and people.[3][4][5][6] In 1999, she received Golden Lion Award at the Venice Biennale.[7]
