Pariz (Persian: پاريز‎‎, also Romanized as Pārīz; also known as Rīz and Bariz)^[1] is a city in and the capital of Pariz District, in Sirjan County, Kerman Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 4,527, in 1,231 families.^[2] District of Pariz Town (Persian: بخش پاريز‎‎) is a Town District (Bakhsh) in Pariz District, Sirjan County, Kerman Province, Iran.^[3] The town district has 54 villages.

Famous people from Pariz

Dr.Mohammad Ebrahim Bastani Parizi is an Iranian historian and author of non-fiction books.He was born in Des.24.1925. His numerous books (over 40) are mostly popular reads on topics such as the history of Iran and the history of his hometown.(This text has been written by Ehsan Jafary Nia Parizi in 2010_)
