Puzi City (Chinese: 朴子市) is a county-controlled city in Chiayi County, Taiwan.
History
Formerly called Pho-a-kha (Chinese: 樸仔腳; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Phoh-á-kha) in Hokkien. In 1920, Japanese rule, was renamed Bokushi Town (朴子街) and governed under Tōseki District, Tainan Prefecture.
Puzi City was established on 10 September 1992 from the former Puzi Township.[2]
