Raúl Andrés Muñoz Mardones (born 25 May 1975 in Curicó, Maule Region) is a Chilean retired footballer who played as a defender.

Football career

During his 10-year professional career, Muñoz played in his country for Deportes Santa Cruz, Santiago Wanderers, Colo-Colo (two stints) and Audax Italiano – where he retired at only 29 – also having abroad spells in Spain (CD Numancia), Russia (FC Krylia Sovetov Samara) and Mexico (San Luis FC).

He gained seven caps for Chile, his debut coming on 2 April 1997 in a friendly against Brazil. He was summoned for the squad at that year's Copa América.[1]
