Roderic Dugald Morton Page (born 1962), is an evolutionary biologist at the University of Glasgow, Scotland, and the author of several books.[3] As of 2015 he is professor at the University of Glasgow and was editor of the journal Systematic Biology until the end of 2007.[4] His main interests are in phylogenetics,[5] evolutionary biology and bioinformatics.[6][7]
Education
Page was educated at the University of Auckland where he was awarded a PhD in 1990.[8]
Career and research
Page is known for his work on co-speciation and in particular the development of bioinformatic software such as TreeMap,[9] RadCon,[10][11] and TreeView.[1][12][13][14][15]
Page is a co-author of Molecular Evolution: A phylogenetic approach[16] and editor of Tangled trees: phylogeny, cospeciation and coevolution.[17]
