Sagoshi Station (砂越駅 Sagoshi eki) is a railway station in Sakata, Yamagata, Japan, operated by East Japan Railway Company (JR East).

Sagoshi Station is served by the Rikuu West Line and the Uetsu Main Line. It is located 160.4 kilometers from the starting point of the Uetsu Main Line at Niitsu Station and 48.7 kilometers from the terminus of the Rikuu West Line at Shinjō Station

History

Sagoshi Station opened on December 24, 1914. With the privatization of Japanese National Railways (JNR) on April 1, 1987, the station came under the control of JR East.
