Sangnok-gu is a district of the city of Ansan in Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. the name `Sangnok` is came from the name of famous book Sangnoksu (meaning "evergreens"). It is written by Sim Hoon. The location background in Sangnoksu is Ansan. so Sangnok is related with Ansan, the reason why `Sangnok` was chosen for district`s name.[1]
