Sant'Agata Fossili is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Alessandria in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 100 kilometres (62 mi) southeast of Turin and about 30 kilometres (19 mi) southeast of Alessandria. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 425 and an area of 8.0 square kilometres (3.1 sq mi).[1]
