Saykoji (born Ignatius Rosoinaya Penyami; June 8, 1983) is an Indonesian rapper, actor and composer. His stage name Saykoji is the spelling of English language and Indonesian language from the word Psycho G. Saykoji is an member of spiritual group for Christian-themed Disciples.
Personal life
Saykoji had married to Tessy Penyami and have two child. He is a Catholic.
Career
Saykoji began his debut career for rapper. EMI Music Indonesia has signed a deal recording for him and began release his self-titled studio album. Saykoji had popularity with hits first single "So What Gitu Lho!" in 2006 and making him as one of rapper who is taken to be calculated after other rapper Iwa K overcast. After that, Saykoji return to release his second album in 2006, titled Musik Hati and produced the single "Jomblo" which had popularity among the young generation.
In addition as rapper singer, Saykoji has also became composer in the three films: Susahnya Jadi Perawan (2008), Mall Klender (2014) and Rumah Gurita (2014); and also played as actor for several movies,[1] such as Selendang Rocker (2009), Langit Biru (2011), Tak Sempurna (2013) and 5 cm which had he listed in Citra Award for Best Supporting Actor at 2013 Indonesian Film Festival.
Saykoji return to news hits single, titled "Online"; although the new form of single, however already capable of famous quickly and charted in radio and chart song in Indonesia. In addition, Saykoji launch a controversial single "Copy My Style" which tells counterfeiting copyrighted song from "Tahukah Kau".
Saykoji has release many singles without album, such as "Party Like A Star", "Apa Ku Bilang", "Move On", "Kembalikan Merah Putih" and "Kece Donk". Saykoji had collaborated with several singer and musician for single, "Gece Dong" with Young Lex, "Sesaat" with JKT48' member personnel Nabilah JKT48 and "Tabula Rasa" with jazz musician Barry Likumahuwa, an single had winning for 2016 Best Vocal Jazz Artist in Anugerah Musik Indonesia.
