Serge Letchimy (born January 13, 1953) is a member of the National Assembly of France. He represents the island of Martinique since June 2007, and is a member of the Socialiste, radical, citoyen et divers gauche parliamentary group. Letchimy is a member of the Martinican Progressive Party (PPM), or Parti progressiste martiniquais. He was the successor of Aimé Césaire as Mayor of Fort de France from 2001 to 2010 and has been the President of the Regional Council of Martinique since March 26, 2010.[1]
