Sipra (Urdu: ) (also known as Sapra) is a Jat tribe in the Punjab region of Pakistan and India. Sipra is a Muslim Jat tribe[1] found mainly in the western districts of Punjab in Pakistan.[2]
History
The Sipra are a sub-division of the Jat Muslim. It means 'super man'.[3]
Location
The tribe is chiefly found along the banks of Chenab and Jhelum River, in the districts of Gujrat, Mandi Bahauddin, Sargodha, Jhang, Gujranwala, Hafizabad, Sheikhpura, Kasur, Okara, Faisalabad, Sahiwal, Chiniot, Toba Tek Singh, Bahawalpur, Multan, Muzzaffargarh, Layyah, Khanewal, Rahim Yar Khan, Rajanpur.
In areas such as Kharian, Kamalia, Tandlianwala, Ahmadpur East, Muridke, Balkassar, Kabirwala, Mahmumwali, Changa Manga, Noor Shah, Kot Addu, Narang Syedan, Sikriala and Waryam Wala Station.
