Spain in the Eurovision Song Contest 1988
Spain was represented by musical ensemble La Década Prodigiosa at the Eurovision Song Contest 1988, held in Dublin, Ireland. La Década Prodigiosa were selected internally by Radiotelevisión Española (RTVE), the Spanish broadcaster, to represent the country at the contest in Ireland with the song "La chica que yo quiero (Made in Spain)".
At Eurovision
La Década Prodigiosa performed 6th on the night of the contest, following Turkey and preceding the Netherlands. At the close of the voting the song had received 58 points, placing 11th in a field of 21.
