Spain in the Eurovision Song Contest 1989
Spain was represented by Nina at the Eurovision Song Contest 1989, held in Lausanne, Switzerland. Nina was selected internally by Radiotelevisión Española (RTVE), the Spanish broadcaster, to represent the country at the contest in Switzerland with the song "Nacida para amar".
At Eurovision
Nina performed 16th on the night of the contest, following France and preceding Cyprus. At the close of the voting the song had received 88 points, placing 6th in a field of 22.
