Stuart Stuart is a Brisbane-based record producer, songwriter, mixer and mastering engineer. His recording studio is Analog Heart Records, and based in Brisbane, Australia.

He produced, mixed and mastered the debut album for Sheppard,[1] including the global hit,[2] "Geronimo". The band single Geronimo was a number 1 single in Australia,[3] and a top ten hit in 16 countries.[4] The single has been certified 6 times platinum (420,000 sales) in Australia and platinum (one million sales) in the US.[5] Stuart also produced the Sheppard EP (2013),[6] which has been certified as double platinum,[7] and contains the hit "Let Me Down Easy". Sheppard have now sold more than 4 million singles and albums worldwide. The band has signed deals with Michael Chugg, Scooter Braun, Kobalt Music Group, Universal Music Group, Decca Records and the Mushroom Group.

Stuart's work also helped The Veronicas secure a multimillion-dollar deal with Warner US.[8] He has credits on the second Veronicas album "Hook Me Up",[9] and has worked with the twins on subsequent songs for soundtracks.

In 2007, Stuart worked with Brisbane band Small Mercies.[10] Stuart co-wrote their ARIA-nominated single "Innocent" and follow up single, "Sorry", and helped the band secure a record deal with Sony Music.

As a songwriter and producer, Stuart has credits with artists as diverse as Brendan Maclean, Honlly Isaac (PNG), Fatman Scoop (US), Tkay Maidza, Joel Adams (singer), Massad (NZ), Luke Million, Marvin Priest, Tyrone Noonan (formerly of George (band)), Thom Crawford (Thundamentals), Sinead Burgess, The Counterfeit Umbrellas, and Repeat Offender.[11]

Stuart was nominated for ARIA producer of the year in 2014.[12][13] Sheppard were also nominated for 6 ARIA Awards at the 2014 ARIA Awards, including album of the year. The band won best group in the same year.

Stuart is active as an audio engineering educator, and has given lectures at Queensland University of Technology, School of Audio Engineering[14] and Music Industry College, Brisbane. He is accredited as an iTunes mastering engineer, and has been interviewed in Audio Technology Magazine.

Stuart[15] is an accomplished guitarist and keyboard player, and plays all instruments on many of the songs he produces.
