Warangal Rural district is a district in the Indian state of Telangana. The district headquarters are located at Warangal City.[2] It was a part of the Warangal district prior to the re-organisation of districts in the state.[3]
Geography
The district is spread over an area of 2,175.50 square kilometres (839.97 sq mi).[4]
Demographics
As of 2011 Census of India, the district has a population of 716,457.[4]
Administrative divisions
The district will have two revenue divisions of Narsampet and Warangal (rural). It is sub-divided into 15 mandals.[3] Patil Prashanth Jeevan is the present collector of the district.[5]
