Wellingtonbridge (Irish: Droichead Eoin), also spelled Wellington Bridge, is a village in south County Wexford, Ireland. It lies some 24 km west of Wexford and 28 km east of Waterford, at the intersection of the R733 and R736 regional roads. It was historically called Ballyowen (Irish: Baile Eoin) after the townland it occupies.
Wellingtonbridge is the home of "Wallaces of Wellingtonbridge", a department store owned by Joe Wallace, brother of local politician Micheal Wallace. Wallaces is a third generation retail company that strives to deliver a local and friendly service to all costumers. It provides jobs to over to hundred employees and offers a "Friendly village atmosphere with free parking."[1]
