• November 30, 1932: Babe Herman was traded by the Reds to the Chicago Cubs for Bob Smith, Rollie Hemsley, Johnny Moore and Lance Richbourg.^[1]
• February 4, 1933: Harry Rice was purchased by the Reds from the Minneapolis Millers (American Association).^[2]
