The 2016–17 FC Krasnodar season is the 6th successive season that the club will play in the Russian Premier League, the highest tier of association football in Russia. Krasnodar will also take part in the Russian Cup and the Europa League, entering at the Third qualifying round.

Season Events

On 13 September 2016, Oleg Kononov Resigned as manager, with Igor Shalimov taking over as caretaker manager.[1] before being appointed the teams permanent manager on 6 October.[2]
