Montenegro

Australia is officially recognized Montenegro on June 27, 2006. Diplomatic relations between the two countries were established on September 1, 2006. Australia is represented through its embassy in Belgrade, Serbia.

Economic relations

In 2012, the overall trade amounted to 250.240 euros, of which imports from Australia was 203.114 euros, and exports to Australia 47,126 euros. Direct investments from Australia amounted to 1,699,924,06 euros.[1][2]

Diaspora

In 2011, Australia Census recorded 1,553 people of Montenegrin ancestry living in Australia.[3]
