Carbohydrate dehydrogenase

Carbohydrate dehydrogenases are a group of dehydrogenase enzymes that occur in many organisms and facilitate the conversion from a carbohydrate to an aldehyde, lactone, or ketose.

An example includes L-gulonolactone oxidase.
