San Giorgio Canavese is a town and comune in the province of Turin in the region of Piedmont, northern Italy.

The main attraction is the castle, once a possession of the Novarese counts of Biandrate.

Near San Giorgio in San Giusto there is a Pininfarina factory.

Native of this town was Giorgio Orsolano (180335) one of the first Italian serial killer. He raped, murdered and maybe eaten three young girls and was executed by hanging. He was also named "La Jena di San Giorgio" (The hyena of San Giorgio) and "Mangiacristiani" (cannibal).
