Champapet is a residential suburb Hyderabad, India. It is known for presence of many function halls. This was a small village until the 1990s, but has grown due to its proximity to the city.[1]
Temples
There is a famous 200 years old Pochamma Temple( Nalugu Gullu) located in the middle of the village with 1 acre of land which is worshiped by all communities during Bonalu festival and get together during Dussehra festival and Karmanghat Hanuman temple one of the oldest temple is just adjacent to champapet. This temple is very famous in champapet and Karmanghat area.
Commercial area
Champapet simply it is called as Garden street Road.The choice for shops at Champapet is very good. This is a major hub for shopping for neighbouring colonies. DMart super market which is located in Champapet XRoads.
There are some good function halls in this area like Manda Bal Reddy Gardens, Balaji Gardens, Yadava Reddy Gardens, Minerva Gardens, Vijaya Gardens etc. and are quite popular for weddings and parties.
Transport
Champapet is connected by buses run by TSRTC, since midhani Depot is close by, it is well connected.and it is even connected by IBRAHIM PATNAM & HAYATH NAGAR bus depot.
Education
There are many schools catering to all budgets like Triveni High School, Brilliant Grammar High School, S't Mary's High School, Bhashyam Public School, Sri Sai Kasturi School, Sidhartha Model School etc. Champapet has a few junior colleges and degree colleges like Veda Degree College, Haindavi Degree College, Narayana Junior College, Sri Gayatri Junior College etc.

Sultan valwa, Dasari Basthi, katika basthi, kationi kunta, Joshi Gondele basthi, Reddy colony, Durga Bhavani nagar colony, Raji Reddy nagar, Anji Reddy Nagar, RTC colony, Govt Press Colony, Balaji Nagar, Sri Balaji Nagar, Brundavan nagar Colony. The most famous and one of the oldest temples called karmanghat hanuman temple is just adjacent to champapet.

Theatres like Indra, Nagendra, Sri lakshmi which are located in karmanghat are very close to Champapet. They are located just adjacent to Nagarjuna Sagar road. Yadagiri theatre is also little over one kilometer away from Champapet 'X' roads. This is on route towards Lab Quarters. Champapet has a large number of hotels like Baluchi, Green Bawarchi,Swaghat grand and Swaghat east court, rhino restaurants etc.
Apartment's
It has good apartments in and around .One of the best apartments in champapet and karmanghat is sai Tirumala and Bhasakara Towers because of its RIchness and hygenity . And the Sai Tirumala and Bhaskara Towers which is on the main road of karmanghat is considered as one of the good and hygienic apartments it is famous in the area because the residents in the apartment are business magnets and politicians .
