Neredmet is a City in India. It comes Under Malkajgiri-Municipality and Mandal in Medchal district, Telangana. It is located in the North Eastern side of Hyderabad city.
The suburb has Residential townships. Adjacent suburbs include Sainikpuri, ECIL and, A.S.Rao Nagar.

Neredmet is well connected Tirumalagiri - ECIL A lot of transportation through trucks takes place which connects Mumbai and Chennai. This road is connected to Hyd - Warangal Highway.

Locality

Neredmet bordered by Sainikpuri and Yapral in the north, Moula Ali in the east, Secunderabad Contonment - Tirumalagiri and Marredpally in the west and Safilguda Railway station in the south.

Etymology

The name Neredmet is derived from the Telugu words Neredu (Jambul trees) and Mettu (Steps). Before becoming an urban centre, Neredmet was a forest of Jambul trees and hence the name .

Earlier it was Major Village in Malkajgiri Mandal, then It became Major urban area in Malkajgiri.
