Christian Thers Nørgaard (born 10 March 1994) is a Danish footballer who plays as a deep-lying playmaker for Danish Superliga club Brøndby IF.[1] Nørgaard has also represented Denmark at several youth levels.

Career

Lyngby BK

Season 2011–12

Christian made his senior debut at the age of 17 when he was brought on for the final 17 minutes in the 2–2 draw against HB Køge 20 November 2011.[2]

Hamburger SV

Season 2012–13

In January 2012 Christian Nørgaard made a €400K transfer from the Danish side Lyngby BK and signed a three-and-half-year-contract with the German giants Hamburger SV which tied him to the club until the summer 2015.[3] Christian had 22 appearances at the reserve team but he never got his bundesliga debut.

Brøndby IF

Season 2013–14

In August 2013 Christian Nørgaard made a €360K transfer from the German side Hamburger SV and signed a four-year-contract with the Danish giants Brøndby IF which ties him to the club until the summer 2017. Christian was handed jersey number 19.[4] Christian made his debut on 22 September 2013 when his was brought on for the final 14 minutes in the 1–3 away victory against Aarhus GF. [5] On 9. March 2014 Nørgaard scored his first senior goal against FC Nordsjælland in a staggering 4–0 home victory at Brøndby Stadion.[6]

Season 2014–15

On 31 July Christian made his Europa League debut when he was brought in for the final five minutes in the 3–0 away defeat against the Belgium side Club Brugge.
