Dhati Pushkarna Brahmin
The Dhati Pushkarna Brahmin Community is a Sub-Community of Pushkarna Brahmin who are native speakers of Dhati Language.
History
These are the Families who were Migrated from Tharparkar District Sindh Province of Pakistan At the Time of Partition. Some of the Families Migrated later at the time of 1971 Indo-Pak war. Many of the Dhati Pushkarna Brahmin are still residing in Tharparkar District Pakistan. It is a highly educated society and has evolved in all directions post-independence. In India Dhati Pushkarna Brahmin's are majorly settled in:
- Khairthal - Around 500 families
- Barmer - Around 140 families
- Gadra Road
- Ahmedabad
- Jaipur
- Abu Road
- Gandhidham/Bhuj/Anjar
- Palanpur
- Bhinmal
- Delhi
- Vadodara
- Anand - Around 4 families
- Banglore
- Tharparkar
- Mirpurkhas
- Hyderabad
- Karachi
- Mewar & Malwa- Around 2000 Families
Culture
Culture is almost same as Pushkarna Brahmin.
