Dresden (also Dresdon) is an unincorporated community in Pettis County, Missouri, United States. Its altitude is 827 feet (252 m), and it is located at about 38°45′2″N 93°20′3″W / 38.75056°N 93.33417°W / 38.75056; -93.33417 (38.7505703, -93.3352083).[1]

History

A post office called Dresden was established in 1863, and remained in operation until 1954.[2] The community was named after Dresden, in Germany.[3] Dresden was once an incorporated town.[4]
