Fishbrain is an online mobile logging, photo-sharing and social networking service that enables its users to record data about and take pictures of catches, and share them either publicly or privately on the app, as well as through a variety of other social networking platforms, such as Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, and Flickr. Fishbrain is the foursquare of fishing with a unique knowledge collection of fishing spots and catches connected to them.[2]

Fishbrain was created by Jens Persson, and launched in 2010 as a free mobile app.[3] Fishbrain is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Support for the app is available for iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, and Android handsets.[4][5][6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15]
