Ghamkol Shariff Masjid
Central Jamia Mosque Ghamkol Sharif is a Sunni-run mosque in the Small Heath area of Birmingham, England.
Construction began on 15 March 1992 in the holy month of Ramadan.[1] Each night throughout its construction, a hafiz recited the Quran on the construction site.[1] Building work was completed in 1996, and upon completion, it was one of the largest mosques in the country. It can fit up to 5,000 people at one time.[1]
