Swedish Greeks, also known as Greek Swedes, consist of people of Greek nationality who have settled in Sweden, as well as Swedish residents and citizens of Greek heritage.
There are approximately 12,062 people born in Greece living in Sweden today, as well as 12,674 people born in Sweden with at least one parent born in Greece.[2] [1] The Greek community in Sweden was estimated to number between 12,000 and 15,000 people as of 2008.[3] They are located mostly in the southern part of Sweden, especially around Stockholm.
