Career

He played for Bayer 04 Leverkusen, Meidericher SV, FC Twente and VfL Bochum.

He coached Schwarz-Weiß Essen, VfL Bochum, MSV Duisburg, Fortuna Düsseldorf, Ethnikos Piraeus F.C.,[5] PAOK,[6] Olympiacos and 1. FC Nuremberg.
