Hendricks Township is one of fourteen townships in Shelby County, Indiana, United States. As of the 2010 census, its population was 1,286 and it contained 517 housing units.[3]

The township bears the name of Governor William Hendricks.[4]

Geography

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 36.58 square miles (94.7 km2), of which 36.37 square miles (94.2 km2) (or 99.43%) is land and 0.21 square miles (0.54 km2) (or 0.57%) is water.[3]
