Ivan Rovny (born 30 September 1987 in Leningrad, Soviet Union) is a Russian professional road bicycle racer. He currently rides for UCI ProTeam Tinkoff.[2]
Career
For the 2014 season, Rovny joined Tinkoff–Saxo.[2] He was disqualified from the 2014 Vuelta a España for fighting with Italian cyclist Gianluca Brambilla on a breakaway on stage 16.[3] In August 2016 Gazprom–RusVelo announced that Rovny would rejoin the team on a two-year contract from the following season, having previously ridden for the team in 2012.[1]
