Kayke Moreno de Andrade Rodrigues (born 1 April 1988), or simply known as Kayke, is a Brazilian footballer who currently plays as a Striker for Yokohama F. Marinos.

Career

Kayke " CAKE "Moreno de Andrade Rodrigues born in Brasilia on 1 April 1988, is revealed by an attacker with Flamengo status of promise, but never caught on in the team Dearest of Brazil, even having been loaned to other clubs in various opportunities for gain experience.

Kayke has always been considered a top scorer of the new generation. Fast, skilful and with an eye for goal, the youngster got an incredible record of more than 280 goals for Flamengo in the basic categories since his at Gavia, when he was only nine years old and has won all possible titles in the bottom teams.

Regarded as an icon of the players revealed by Flamengo and born between 1987 and 1988, early Kayke was one of the most concrete bets Fla., and not least, was treated in the corridors of the Topsail carefully. The result, of course, came with titles – while he was in the teams base, the attacker has won enough trophies.

The highlight of the junior Kayke alongside names such as Bruno Mezenga and Paulo Sergio, meant that the athlete was promoted to the professional team in 2007, along with defender Thiago Sales and midfielder Vinicius Colombiano. That season, took the field in only four occasions and was headed into a match by Ney Franco and the other three experienced by Joel Santana.

In 2008, however, the odds were not repeated and Kayke had no place in professional team, so he was loaned to the dispute to Brasiliense[1] Series B of the Brazilian Championship. At year's end, however, terminated the loan contract and returned to Flamengo.

On his return to Gávea[2] also skilled with age, participated in the group that competed in the Cup Otávio Pinto Guimarães. In his first game back after he gave assistance to the winner of the junior team. In the second game made its mark by helping the team to ensure another victory.

As for the 2009 season, was among the Kayke until then coach Cuca selected to participate in the Pre-Season, however, Brazil's Most Wanted has not objected to lend it even at the start of the season where he scored a goal Macaé[3] Championship Carioca 2009.

Back at Gávea once again at the end of his contract with the Macaé, Kayke was no longer utilized, and only trained on the premises of Gávea until the end of his contract, at which signed an agreement with Vila Nova GO, who was competing in club without much attention, the second division of Campeonato Brasileiro 2009.

Already in 2010, outside the village's plans, just headed Kayke to Europe in order to defend the BK Häcken,[4] Swedish first division club and after a semester that team, and few performances, he was traded to Tromsø IL[5] in Norway. In his home debut he scored two goals, when Tromsø IL won 3–1 against Odd Grenland. One of his goals was acclaimed the best goal in the Norwegian Tippeligaen in 2010. Later that year he scored hat-trick in a 5–3 victory against Sandefjord, who summited last on the league table. Because of a tight economy Tromsø IL had to let him go.

He now plays for Yokohama F. Marinos in the Japanese J.League Division 1. Basically all the fans love him and his Instagram account. After scoring his promised 25 goals he had a #DAYOFF in Ginza to the amusement of fans. A true legend.

Recently an online campaign to #freekayke has caused a buzz. It seems Kayke has cemented his place in the F.Marinos first team for many years to come. This follows a long list of successful moves by the club including the monumental signing of the Japanese goal machine Ito Sho. Both players have ripped the J.League apart.
